We have all gathered here to listen, to understand, because the reason that I came to Jaipur to do something that didn't happen, and I wanted to do an event as well, when will it happen, how it will happen, and I said no problem, because what is success? And that's the question I asked myself, that was my coming to Jaipur this time successful or not, so on one hand if you look at it, it wasn't, and if you look at it the other way, which is the correct way of looking at it, yes it was successful. The reason I am saying this, is because the human being also asks himself, am I successful or not, and for the one who does not understand that his life itself is a success, his bag is empty. The one who does not understand that the coming and going of this breath is success, then he is half dead.

People talk about ghosts, right? That's a living ghost. His attention is somewhere else, the coming and going is happening elsewhere, so that's what happens. So I am going to say something, and I was thinking about this, that there is milk, and you can drink milk, people drink milk, but there are many people who like to mix something in the milk, like sugar, and if they are going to make something from the milk, then many times they have to boil the milk or do something with the milk, so milk is milk, but if you look at it in a simple way, then if that milk is settled in a clay pot, then what will happen? It turns into yogurt.

The water is separated, because there is water in the milk, you don't see it. When you look at milk, you don't see that there is water in it, but there is a lot of water in the milk. And when it transforms into yogurt, but it first has to be placed into that clay pot, and it can't just be any clay pot, it has to be a clay pot with the right temperature, and if it's too cold, then the yogurt will not settle, and if it has some yogurt culture in there from before, it will settle even nicer, it will make even nicer yogurt. So one form is just milk, and if the milk is turned and settled into this clay pot, it turns into yogurt, and you can do a lot with yogurt, and if the yogurt is churned, then what will come out? Butter. And if the butter is warmed up and heated, what will happen? It will turn into ghee. But when it becomes ghee, which is purified butter, then you know what all you can make with that? When it becomes ghee, the purified butter, you can make an entire meal with that.

If you put okra in milk, it's not going to taste good, but if you put the okra in the ghee, its taste will be even better. With the ghee, the purified butter, you can make sweets, you can eat it with lentils, you can eat it with rice, you can eat it with vegetables, you can eat it with bread, but if you put milk in bread, that won't taste very good. Why am I telling you this? It's not that I wanted to tell you what the process is from turning milk into ghee, into the purified butter, but the human being in this world is like milk.

In every human being, there is that curiosity, that potential to want to know, to want to understand. But the water is mixed in there as well, and something needs to be done, and that's what the human being does, whether he places sugar in there or something in there to increase the taste, to better the taste. When the human being truly becomes an aspirant, then look at it as if he is placed and settled in that environment of satsang, of company of truth, then the water is separated, and the yogurt is separated.

He hasn't transformed into butter yet. When the Master churns that yogurt with the instrument of Knowledge, then all the other qualities will settle down, and the butter will come to the top. And when that aspirant experiences practice, listening, and participation, then that butter is turned into ghee, the purified butter, not before then. Now in the butter in the West, there's not that much water, but in India, when you boil the butter, there's a lot of water. And in yogurt, there's definitely a lot of water, most of it comes out, but there's still quite a bit of water in there. And if butter stays without being refrigerated for quite a few days, it can become bad. But ghee, the purified butter, can last for a lot longer, because there's no water in it, it has become purified. Now there might be people here who are saying, why are you giving such an example? There might be doctors sitting here saying, how can you say ghee is good, the purified butter? We're not talking about cholesterol, we're talking about the purity. Just like through the entire process, the human being becomes pure, from milk, transforms into the ghee, the purified butter.

In the same way, the Master wants the human being to transform himself from that milk and transform into ghee, into that purified butter. And there might be people who say, well, what's wrong with milk? Milk is good. If you put that milk in a glass, it will settle, but it won't settle like yogurt, it won't turn into yogurt, it will become sour, it will become bad. And people might think, we don't need the clay pot. No, you need the clay pot, the proper pot, in which maybe if there's some culture from ahead of time, then it has the acidophilus in it, it has the bacteria, which will then transform the milk into yogurt properly. There are so many people who talk about God, but does that mean they're giving satsang, which is the company of truth? Why? I'll give you an example.

Because in a book, many times there's the termites, right? Sometimes they even attack books. Where does the termite live, or the bookworm, where does it live? In the book, it keeps going in and out of all the pages. Forget reading the words, it's eating the words, eating the words. But does it understand anything? Does it understand anything? If you ask the termite, what's written in this book, will that termite be able to tell you? There are many who just follow blindly. There are many who say the name of God. God existed even then when no human being existed. Or do you think that God came after the human being? So if there was no human being here, and only God existed, then what was God's name? Because there was no one to call Him, there was no one to say God, there was no tongue, no mouth, no tongue, no mouth, no voice. At that time, what was the name of God? What was it? And if you don't know, then you too are just following blindly. There are many people these days, aren't there? Who speak.

In India, before I had gone to the West, about a year before I left for the West, there were televisions here in India. And at that time it was black and white, not color televisions, and there was one channel, just one channel. And at that time, they weren't making the televisions in India, it was coming from foreign places. And they had 10 or 12 channels, and you kept turning the knob, turning the knob, and you'd only get one channel, and even that just for a short period of time. Today, there are so many channels, so many channels, that don't even ask. And there are so many channels in the name of God, because at that time there was only one channel, and even the name of God wasn't announced on there.

They would show a few different things, very briefly, that's it. And these days, in the name of God, there are so many channels, and what has changed? Has the number of thieves decreased? What do you think? Have the number of thieves in this world decreased or increased? If this many people are taking the name of God, has honesty increased or decreased? What do you think? I won't say whether it's increased or decreased. What do you think? Is the human being happy or not? Is he in pain? When India did not have the big stock market, people weren't investing in it, but as soon as that big stock exchange opened up in India, people started investing in there.

And when the stock market went down, then did anybody become happy? People became very sad. Very sad. And so many people committed suicide. That's how sad they became. Because to commit suicide is not a simple thing. It's not an easy thing. A person really, really has to be in a lot of pain to commit suicide. So what I'm saying is that even though having all of these things, is there something that people have still not captured till now? And if they have not captured it till now, peace is not possible in their lives. Why? Because if you try to cook your vegetables with yogurt, if in the yogurt, you try to fry the papad, which is something, an Indian dish that you can only fry in oil or ghee, then it won't work. It only has to be cooked in the purified butter or in oil. You understand? In the same way, if Knowledge is not there, if we don't have Knowledge in our lives, then it's very easy just to follow blindly. Becomes very easy to follow in a blind fashion. I had heard that there was Lord Krishna and the one who loved Him was Radha. That's what I had heard. I'm not saying I've seen that. I've heard that. This is the age of darkness. He was there in the time of Dwapar. There's quite a bit of distance between that time and now. But who knows how many women existed at that time who also loved their husbands. Who knows how many women at that time loved their husbands, loved their beloved. But nobody says their name. Those women's names. Have you heard any of those women's names? Have you heard their names? Nobody says their name. They also loved. No. But who did Radha love? She loved Krishna. Not just any person. She loved Krishna. Therefore the glory is sung of Radha and Krishna.

A few days ago I was watching on TV. They were talking about Radha. Just Radha and Radha. And Krishna was gone. He disappeared. It's kind of like the buffalo disappears but you're holding on to the leash and you don't even turn around and see if the buffalo is still attached to your rope or not. There's no buffalo attached to the rope and you're making the same noise calling the buffalo to follow you. You're making the same noise calling on to the buffalo but there's no buffalo there. That's the condition. What is the essence? The essence is not of Radha. The essence was of that love. Do you think at the time of Lord Krishna was he the only one who played the flute? There was no one else? Or was he the only one who invented flute playing? No. There were many who played the flute but not like him. Not like him. And you think that the shepherds were the only ones who had the cows? No. There were many shepherds but no one was one who was with the cows like Krishna. That's what we're talking about that if you don't catch the essential thing that even if you don't have the leash, it's okay but as long as you have the buffalo that's fine because we're talking about the buffalo not just the leash. But people think that the leash is tied to the buffalo so the leash is everything the buffalo is nothing what are we holding on to what are you pulling on what are you saying, come, come but nothing is there for you to pull.

That's what we call understanding that for the living they need the living you need the living Knowledge for the living people you need the living Knowledge you need the living satsang the living listening to the Master who talks about today not yesterday what's past is past, it's gone what are the problems of today what is the condition of today today today how can a human being reach his goal how can a human being find that peace today not yesterday we start singing the glory of that who experienced peace in his life people in this world think that if you keep rubbing yourself against the buffalo then one day you too will start giving milk how how how there's a person I'm not talking about women, I'm talking about men and if he starts rubbing himself against the buffalo then do you think he'll start giving milk one day how can he give milk today today you will need to become Arjun to understand that you'll have to put aside your cheat and deceit and come with the heart of a child and go to the Master of the time and he will give you this Knowledge who said this Lord Krishna explain that to Arjun that's what he said go to the Master of the time put aside your cheat and deceit, go with the heart of a child and ask with that humility, ask with that humility but you too will have to first be Arjun are you ready to be Arjun people say we don't have time for the one who has not understood the value of time understood the value of his goal of life then what does he know of the value of time today people say do good deeds do good deeds but what are good deeds when is the thief going to thank God when he gets a whole bunch of stolen goods in his hands then he will give thanks to God and who will he give thanks to thank you God thank you God you placed a really big person in front of me you placed me in front of his house I stole a lot of things from his home, I got home safely and the police didn't catch me so thank you very very much people go on one hand they say ask from God ask and your desires will be fulfilled and on the other hand they say God is all knowing don't they say that do they believe that or not, no they don't why don't they believe it because if he knows everything then even if you are sitting on the toilet he knows what's going on in your head right?

Isn't it true so on one hand people say God you are all knowing like that song that says you are all knowing you know everything so does he also not know that this singing of Aarti that you are doing whether you are singing it really from your heart or you are just singing it like everybody else is singing it so on one hand you are all knowing and on the other hand ask from God and your desires and it has been said that the one who asks from his mind is a follower of his mind and it's been said that for the one who follows his mind there isn't even room in hell for that person I haven't said this rule it's been stated from before the mind which never settles in one place, it's always wandering it's always wandering and you are placing it to do something and you are placing it into doing something where at least God can help you then that's even good so God is not the one who resides within you but your mind becomes your God and your mind makes you wander here and there and you will be told maybe your desire will be fulfilled the mind's desire will be fulfilled because again it comes what is your desire because we were talking about success about fulfillment right my coming to Jaipur was it successful or not so the thing that I came here to do did not happen but I said I am here so I am going to do an event and then leave so on the day of Pesakhi on the 13th I had given the date for the event, today's date so is it successful my trip coming to Jaipur yes it is, absolutely whether the other things happened or not the fact that this happened it is successful that I came to Jaipur in your life whether other things happen or not if you can experience peace in your heart your life is a success if you understand this Knowledge your life is successful whether any of your other things are complete or not fulfilled or not even if one other thing is not completed but if you have understood this breath then all of your things everything is successful is fulfilled.

You don't have a need to cry because as the saints and masters have said from before this is all an illusion it all changes and changes and changes don't place your hope in these things because if you place your hope in this illusion then you will definitely be disappointed if you want to put your hope in something place it in such a place which will be with you till the very end and by remembering which by practicing which your heart will experience peace that's what you should put your hope in connect yourself to that thing then people say what about our responsibilities our families in our world our business, our farming what will happen to all of that that which you consider your duty take care of it but don't attach your hope to those things because then you will have to be disappointed do you understand knowing where to connect what to you know how there are the wires the electrical wires you could place them anywhere right? but when you start the current what will happen it will turn into fire no you call that person the electrician who knows which wire is connected to which other wire you call that person a devotee who knows which wire to connect to which place and this wire of devotion when it's connected to the Master when this wire of hope is connected to Knowledge when the wire of this understanding is connected to the wire of satsang of listening to the Master then when you turn on the light your entire house will be filled with light but what happens to people when the wires are mixed up what happens you turn on the light the light is there but just for half a second and then it just explodes and then darkness again and then people start getting into fixing the wires and try this wire with that wire they don't know for that you need the Master of the time you need the living master for that the living master because even if somebody writes that put the green wire connected to the black wire connect the red wire to the blue wire but in your hand you don't have even one red wire you don't even have one black wire then you'll have to be banging your head what do most people do this is what's being explained to people that so and so wrote this and this is what it means that's what people explain right in so and so holy book this is written or in so and so place god said this and that's what it means it means you didn't know even by reading you didn't know what it really meant that somebody has to really explain it to you so what is being said they take the black wire connected to the green wire and you're looking at it I don't have a green wire here I don't have a black wire here I don't have a red wire here and then you start running you say I don't even have a black wire but the one who pokes fun at you what does he say because in his world he has the black wire and he has the green wire and he says son there's a problem in your eyesight you can't see the colors you're color blind so here take this medicine for 10 rupees and put it in your eyes and then look and you'll be able to see the black and the green and people go and they buy the medicine they spend their 10 rupees and they buy the medicine for the real thing for the truth people don't have one penny and for the false thing for the lies they have millions they have millions millions.

I speak to people for an hour at a time speak to people about Knowledge.People come but when they hear the 30 second toothpaste commercial on TV, then immediately they run over to the store and they buy the toothpaste. Maybe the toothpaste has cow dung in it but what did they see? What did they see? A beautiful woman. Have you ever seen an ugly woman, an ugly woman selling something on TV? No. A beautiful woman. She's brushing her teeth with that particular toothpaste. Her teeth were clean from the start. Her teeth were already white and if people who eat paan, which is betel leaves, it doesn't matter which toothpaste you use, you won't be able to clean your teeth. One time I came here to India, about 2-3 years ago, when I was really young I used to like eating paan which is betel leaf so I ate one of those betel leaves and I brushed my teeth like 10-12 times and they still weren't becoming clean and after that I said "That's it, there's no toothpaste that can clean this but on TV they'll show you 30 seconds or less here's this beautiful woman very young whose teeth are already white and she's brushing her teeth and everybody says yes that's the kind of teeth I want and they go to the store and buy it and here I speak to people for over an hour, not 30 seconds, for over an hour, try to make people understand what would be beneficial for your life right and not just that I give the guarantee I give the guarantee anyone can just brush and clean their teeth and one day these teeth that you have are not going to be there anymore and after that you'll have to get dentures and with dentures you won't have to clean them that much, you just put them in a glass with the medicine and it'll get cleaned on its own and if it's false teeth, even if they get too dirty you can take them to the doctor and have them replaced. You won't even have to wash them very much but whose devotion is being experienced? The devotion is being experienced of ignorance not of Knowledge and in that ignorance the human being is captured in such a way that he does not know what is truth and what is lies. What is truth and what is lies. Yhere is no line in the middle, there is no line left to separate the truth from the lies but until you feel and experience this on your own.

People go and they worship Shivji but nobody understands the true worship of Shivji within. Nobody knows the real Shiv, the Shiva everyone worships. God. Nobody understands the real God, the one who resides within you. That Shiva who resides within you. Within you is that Shiva who has that strength, that power to remove the darkness of ignorance. People say see the Ganges, they go to the Ganges, they bathe there. There is a Ganges flowing within you as well and the Ganges that is outside in Haridwar who knows what people put in there? Who knows what people do in that water. They wash the dirt of their body but do they wash the dirt of their mind? Because they don't know how to. Tthey have no idea how to wash the dirt of their mind but within you there is the Ganges, within you is the pilgrimage, within you are all the scriptures. It is all within you but if you have not found the one who can show you that is within you and if you have just determined that what you want is all on the outside you will just wander on the outside. Who is going to bathe in the Ganges within? If you bathe in the Ganges within, it will wash away all your sins. If you bathe in the Ganges within, you will reach that heaven while you are alive, while you are alive. I just don't understand about reaching heaven after dying. If you are going to reach heaven you should reach it while you are alive and the Master says "Yes, heaven is here and you can reach that heaven while you are alive, while you are alive, this will be your heaven."

When Radha saw Krishna, was there any other heaven for her than that? Could it be when Arjun received Knowledge, what did he say "Please forgive me. I did not know who you are. I thought you were my friend. I was sitting with you. I was sitting on your bed talking with you. I called you friend. I had no idea." That place where Arjun understood who he was standing next to but after he received Knowledge when he realized could there be a greater heaven than that was there a greater heaven for him than that people talk about heaven Lord Ram asks Hanuman ask and people want to hear about the Katha, the stories listen to the story listen to the story Lord Ram says he is very pleased with Hanuman and says to Hanuman ask what would you like what did he ask for I have an increase in the stock market I have too many daughters I would like a son I have too many sons I would like a daughter please have my sons pass the exam is that what he asked for no that I want your devotion for Hanuman for Hanuman what was his heaven where the deities resided no where Hanuman's Ram was where he could experience his devotion for him that was his heaven that was heaven where the heart is happy is at peace there is peace within that is heaven people think when it is cold it will be nice when it is too cold and people think when it gets warmer it will be nice when it is warm and people start sweating and they think oh I wish it would be nicer weather and when people get colds and flus in the cold weather then they wish that it could be hot so it is like that example I was giving that if the person thinks he is rubbing himself against a buffalo then maybe one day he will start giving milk too but no it does not work that way that is why there is a need for Knowledge therefore a human being can fulfill his life whether other things are fulfilled or not everything in this world it has the potential to be a success or not and if you have found success then you will also find the opposite and if you don't find success then you will also have success so it is a constant changing cycle it is the same coin there is just two sides to the same coin one time you see one side the other time you see another side but the coin is the same it is the coin of illusion that success has been given to you that day that desire of yours has been fulfilled that day when you were given this breath and when this last breath leaves from your body then your attention should be toward that power that strength that showed you to look at that Knowledge within you that you experienced within you you were in heaven and you will continue to remain in heaven only the one who has Knowledge can say I was in heaven I am in heaven and I will remain in heaven why? because my master has his grace on me he has given me this Knowledge he has given me this experience he has shown me this thing within but I don't want that you only believe what I say because I said it I want for you to experience it for yourself to experience this in your life.

What is the difference what is the difference between you having Knowledge now and at the time when you didn't have Knowledge? No matter where you are whatever condition you are in whatever state you are in as soon as your attention goes to this place everything changes whether it's for just a second everything changes and even in that moment even in the moment of trials as soon as your attention goes there your trials and tribulations are removed for a while it's not just a ordinary thing the rishis the sage and saints prayed and prayed and did their mantras for so long to try to remove the trials and tribulations even for a little bit and here with this Knowledge in an instant it can be removed from you why? because hell is here too death the grim reaper will come and where will he take you? where will he take you? to hell and what is hell? ignorance is hell and for those who did not know even one word of Sanskrit they never studied those books they never read the scriptures they didn't wear the saffrons they had their families and what is coming from their mouth? beautiful words satsang the company of truth and people might think what's going to come out of his mouth? what's going to come out of his mouth? but the Master my Master has given me Mnowledge and he used to tell me stand and speak.

One time in Dehradun this is what happened. I had requested to Shri Maharaji he was going on a tour and I said please would you do an event in Dehradun. Many people used to ask me "What does your father do?" I said that'll be nice if we do an event and you'll all get to know what my father does. So my father gave me the time and the date and I started preparing. I went to every classroom and I gave an invitation to each teacher. "Please come. Maharaji's event is happening." My principal, I gave him the invitation as well and we had a slide put in the movie theaters. These slides and at every interval they would see the slide advertising this event and I think Shri Maraji forgot about that date and he was on tour and he was very far away and I had written a letter, because at that time there weren't any other ways of communication. So I wrote a letter, sent this letter with somebody to say "Please you told me you're going to be here for this event and I've prepared" What should we do?' So he cancelled his tour, came back to Dehradun and did an event. So all of my teachers were sitting there, everybody was there gathered and I said "This will be good. When Shri Maharaji speaks then you'll hear and listen and understand and then he asked me to speak. Now what am I going to say? All my teachers were there. I spoke. I spoke. Where did it come from? Did I learn it in school? No. Did someone read the scriptures to me? Did I read the Gita? It was due to the gift of Knowledge. I understood something. I experienced something. After that how could my mouth be closed? So I've heard such people speaking who didn't know anything and they were speaking and there are people who are very educated and they were sitting there listening to that simple person speaking and they were enjoying that real Ganges is flowing within you . Know it and see it. The Master has the potential to transform you from milk to ghee, the purified butter.

For the ones who are aspiring, the people who are aspirants, are you ready to be settled in that clay pot. It won't happen in any vessel or any glass. The Master has that clay pot then be ready to be churned with that instrument of Knowledge and when you sit then through the four techniques, the Master starts churning, starts churning and churning and the butter will come to the top and what will he say "Take this and participate, listen and practice and through the warmth of participation, through the warmth of listening to the Master, through the warmth of practice you will then be transformed from butter into ghee, the purified butter and after that there is no limit. From Jalebis, which is an Indian sweet, to all kinds of vegetables and lentils you can be in all of it, there is no limit. So this is what I wanted to come share with you, say to you. So I had this opportunity. I had the opportunity to come and speak to you. You had the opportunity to come and listen. So do it. We need to move forward and all the effort is being made to move forward. Right now it's very hot, this time too, it's ok. We had an event in Delhi. We've had an event here now and if it's possible to do an event somewhere else we'll do that too and this is what it is which makes everything else a success. My blessings to everyone
