Applause For God In The Bod
During the 1970's it was accepted by Prem Rawat's followers that he was God in a Bod ie he was identical to Jesus Christ and taught that Jesus revealed the same Knowledge as himself, his father and all the other Perfect Masters including Ram(a), Krishna, Buddha, Kabir, Guru Nanak, Swarupanand (his father's guru) and others did. He was the Ultimate Ruler and Incarnation of God. He sometimes used the word embodiment to describe the relationship between himself and God. He was the Master, the Savio(u)r, Guru Maharaj Ji, the Perfect Master, the Lord, the Living Master, the Incarnation of God, the Manifestation of God, the Embodiment of God who come(s) in(to) the world to save it. He said that without the Perfect Master on the planet, the world would collapse.
But he was a little circumspect in public and answered questions with claims of humble servitude to God. He nearly always referred to himself publicly in the third person but occasionally he'd let the disguise slip and made an overt reference to himself as God and his premies always reacted in the same way - with cheering, applause, Bolie Shris and knowing laughter.

This is just about the time that everybody comes together and understands who is God because I guess there have been too many of these phony things going around these world. Ah, messes like Watergate and things like that but it's just not America, it's right around the world, you can't just blame just one country for it. And I guess this is just about time that everybody gets together and understands who is God because it's important that people know God by now, at least. (knowing laughter in crowd)

It's a little rebellion but when you see the Super Boss it's like "It's all right" (applause for the super boss) you know whatever that super boss is doing, it's cool, it's okay and you realize that you don't even exist in the presence of that super thing.
