Songs of Praise and Worship Inspired by Prem Rawat: Your love
This Youtube video was filmed in Rome in 1980 at a festival for Prem Rawat's European followers. One FOundation wasn't there so it appears a pick-up band of locals provided the music quite creditably apart from some gaffes where they forgot the lyrics. Prem Rawat sits in a light gray suit looking bored, glum and jowly but does have a laugh when he hears the gaffe.
For the first 20 years of his career Prem Rawat (Maharaji) was known as the Lord of the Universe or its Hindi equivalent, Guru Maharaj Ji and known as Sweet Lord or our Lord for short. This song is timeless and is still on high rotation in Prem Rawat's Greatest Hits. Prem Rawat taught that He was the Creator as well as the Destroyer and the Preserver.
Your love
Your love it takes me to a place I know not where
But when I go I know your love is there
Your love it takes me to your Feet and when I go
I know that I can rest within your loving care
Chorus: Your love, your love, your love, your love, your love
Your love means everything to me
Your love, your love, your love, your love, your love
Your love holds everything for me.
Your love it takes me to a river full of love
Where I can drink your love both day and night
And if I (forgets lyrics) take me to a sea of love divine
Your ocean where (laughter)
Chorus
Your love it takes me up so high that I can see
Your loving eyes are looking right at me
And if I fall I call your Name and there you are
You still my fears and then my tears fall at your feet
Your love, your love, your love, your love, your love
Your love means everything to me
Your love, your love, your love, your love, your love
Your love holds everything for me.
Chorus
Your love it takes me up so high that I can see
Your loving eyes are looking right at me
And if I fall I call your Name and there you are
You still my fears and then my tears fall at your feet
Repeat chorus
