Songs of Praise and Worship Inspired by Prem Rawat: Right Inside

https://youtu.be/7u4B5gjV6tY

In this Youtube video, filmed at the Holi festival in Denver 1977, Prem Rawat is giving darshan. He is dressed in a suit and sits while his premies file past kissing his feet with Ira Woods collecting the dedications. There seems to be more Holy Breath than I would expect in 1977 but these scenes may have been included to make it appear the propagation was succeeding.

Prem Rawat's rockiest band of devotees in the late 1970s was Jiva who signed to George Harrison's record label. Their songs were less overtly worshipping of Prem Rawat - their career prospects were looking good and they might have attained great success. In "Right Inside" they are repeating Prem Rawat's satsang in a rhymed rock song. This song is timeless and is still on high rotation in Prem Rawat's Greatest Hits.

Right Inside

All that we want is to be happy and free
We attach this feeling to people place and things
When we ever wanted in this life
Is inside us
Constantly
An unlimited source of peace
Inside

We've worked all our lives trying to find this peace in vain
We've been trying to find it in a world of constant change
Peace is something beyond our minds' conceptions
We try so hard to find
Something so simple lying right inside all the time
All the time

repeat first verse
