At the end of the 1970s and beginning of the 1980s Prem Rawat intensified His demands to His premies for devotion and surrender and the songs sung at His festivals and recorded and sold became pseudo-Hindi bhajans or in this case an actual Hindi bhajan. It was filmed at the 1979 Hans Jayanti festival and Prem Rawat got up and danced on stage towards the end of the song.

For the first 20 years of his career Prem Rawat (Maharaji) was known as the Lord of the Universe or its Hindi equivalent, Guru Maharaj Ji. This song is timeless but on low rotation in Prem Rawat's Greatest Hits.
