Songs of Praise and Worship Inspired by Prem Rawat: The Greatest Magician

In this Youtube video, filmed at the Holi festival in 1978 Prem Rawat sprays thousands of His premies with coloured water from a giant water cannon. The soundtrack is the song, The Greatest Magician, is on low rotation in Prem Rawat's Greatest Hits as it is too explicit to be played after 1984. In the crowd of thousands there is only one balding head to be seen as His premies were then in their 20s.

For the first 20 years of his career Prem Rawat (Maharaji) was known as the Lord of the Universe or its Hindi equivalent, Guru Maharaj Ji and often directly spoke of his Divinity. This song refers to satsang he gave in which he compared Himself with a stage magician who pulled a rabbit out of his hat while He created and gave life to rabbits which sort of demonstrated He was God and asked why was He never applauded. The premies applauded. Even they could understand what was expected. It is timeless but is on low rotation in Prem Rawat's Greatest Hits as it is too explicit to be played after 1984.
