Maharaji's 1985 Christmas Greetings

I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.

I am writing this letter to express what has transpired this year and what we can all look forward to. Certainly this year has been very nice. I was able to see many people expressing to all the joy and beauty of this wonderful and precious gift called life.

It always amazes me to see the response people have when they hear about this Knowledge, no matter where I go. For it is true, somewhere in all of us there is a place which yearns to be fulfilled.

This year alone I have had the grace to visit 35 countries, hold 93 programs in 75 cities, see 617,057 people and travel 122,498 statute miles. It is nice to know that no matter where you are you are a part of what is going on. Every day more and more people, everywhere, are joining the celebration of life.

This year was made possible by the grace and effort that we all put forth. Next year I hope to reach more people.
