Human Development through Self Knowledge (UK) Ordanisation

The Elan Vital organization in the United Kingdom changed its name to HDSK (Human Development through Self Knowledge) at the end of 2009.

HDSK (Human Development through Self Knowledge) is a national "educational" charity which exists to promote the message of Prem Rawat in the UK without having to pay tax on the donated finances. It provides no real benefit to the British public. Prem Rawat has attended events in the UK almost every year over 50 years, including July 2019 when he spoke at an event in Manchester attended by over 3,400 people.

In total Prem Rawat has undertaken almost 400 speaking engagements in the UK since 1971 speaking to 850,000 people with an average 2,100 attendees. His largest audience in the UK was at the Lingfield Race Course for the Guru Puja Festival in 1979 when over 12,000 attended and 10,000 people at the Glastonbury Faire of 1971 who couldn't understand anything he said, didn't know who he was or why he was onstage.
