Dear Everyone,

At a planning meeting held on October 5th 2003 a unanimous decision was made that I.C.P; the unincorporated legal structure responsible for the business operations of the Gold Coast community, should apply to become an incorporated association. This decision was reached primarily to protect those community members making up the board of the management committee of I.C.P. Incorporation of an association places legal accountability on the entity itself rather than on individuals holding this responsibility.

The application has now been approved and as of June 11th 2004, the Gold Coast community became an incorporated association operating under the name 'ENTETECHY-GOLD COAST INC'

Incorporation, besides offering legal protection for individuals also has certain legal responsibilities such as an annual audit, book keeping, a register of members and committee members etc, and public liability insurance.

The association will also be required to conduct regular meetings under the titles 'Management Committee Meeting', 'General Meeting' and 'Annual General Meeting' and to inform the community when these meetings will be held. In our conduct of the meetings we have decided to adopt the 'model rules' offered by the Office of Fair Trading. These rules include decisions of these meetings being reached by majority vote, minutes being kept, and elections for management committee positions.

All monies held by I.C.P are required to be transferred to the bank account of ENTELECHY - GOLD COAST INC and all assets likewise become the property of same from date of incorporation.

Those people who were members of I.C.P at the date of incorporation automatically and legally become members of ENTELECHY, and we encourage as many P.W.K as possible in the community to apply for membership as this helps greatly re: apportioning the community's income source and reducing assessable income.

Anita, Paul F. or I can be contacted for an application form.

If you would like to receive additional information about incorporation, or becoming a member, or would like to help support and promote events and propagation in your own community financially, please contact me, either by phone 55312373 or 'First Class' or email johnp****h@dodo.com au
