Just a few thoughts that might go towards writing a role brief for the LC. Cheers, Anita.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that the greatest integrity is maintained regarding anything to do with M; Is diligent to attain impeccable standards in all levels of communication and activity

Enjoys Knowledge personally …

Ensures that propagation and inspiration are the guiding purpose underlying all the responsibilities, functions and activities that occur in that locality.

Works in/with the team - contributes to its cohesion and effectiveness; practises inclusiveness

Identifies local needs and resources

Synchronises with M's vision

Communicates effectively

Is active in ensuring that events are of the highest quality

Is responsible for providing reports and statistics punctually, accurately and as requested

Ensures all legal, financial and PR matters are handled appropriately

Tenure:
Two years??? including a six month 'deputy' period

Performance Review:
Self evaluation; feedback from local team members??; group discussion with a "panel" of other LC's ????
