The Divine Society
"If man thinks he is an individual, he believes that he owes nuttin' to nobody and goes about grabbing all the gusto he can get. Unfortunately there is a gusto shortage because man's appetites are endless and the toys he uses to satisfy those appetites are limited. This is the formula for conflict …"

Soul In The Cell
"Guru's National Director Prison Bound," read the headline in Denver's Rocky Mountain News. Mike Donner, after a six year battle with the courts, has finally been sentenced to a four year stretch in federal prison stemming from a 1968 conviction for destroying draft files. Before receiving Knowledge, Mike worked with an anti-war group which called itself the Beaver 55. In 1968, he and five other members were arrested and charged with destroying draft records. The litigation ended on December ninth when the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the group's petition for an appeal. As it now stands, Mike will begin serving a four-year prison sentence on January 15.

Birthday
For most premies around the world, Guru Maharaj Ji's 17th birthday this December 10th, was a lesson in omnipresence. Maharaj Ji and Durga Ji spent a quiet day together at the Los Angeles Residence. The Sunday before, Durga Ji escorted Maharaj Ji to a surprise pre-birthday celebration aboard the Queen Mary, attended by nearly a thousand premies.

Knowledge is Working For You Satsang given by Shri Sant Ji Maharaj in Melbourne Australia, October 29 1974
I tell you, in India, I have met with every kind of person. Even in America, when I was there, I was meeting every kind of person. And the atheists, who didn't believe in God, nor in scripture, not even in a soul - I mean, I guess they didn't even believe in themselves, who they were - those people - now, believe me or not - were the easiest to tell that there is something like God.
This meditation can really do a number, really do a number. It can show us our real path. But let me caution you about one thing. There are some premies who are just about ready to give up on this Knowledge.

A Matter of Trust Satsang Given by Durga Ji in Caracas, Venezuela at the Guru Puja Festival July 25, 1975
You know, when you fall in love with someone, or even when parents fall in love with their children, or husbands with wives, or you love your mother or father, when you leave them, you still have a communication with them within you. But it's not like the perfect lover that Guru Maharaj Ji is. Because he really is our center. He really is us, and we really are him. No matter where we go, no matter where we are, we're always right there.

National News
Since Day of Thanks was a national program of Guru Maharaj Ji, I decided to go along to the hospital our community was visiting. I had an incredible experience. Love was dragged out of my heart that I never knew was there … I saw that helping, really reaching out, is actually a very humbling experience. I felt something like St. Francis must have when he stopped on the road to help a leper who could not walk, and the leper turned into Jesus Christ in his arms. WWA is not social service, it's manifesting Guru Maharaj Ji's love in this world."
